About The Role
As a Senior Python Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The project focuses on the end-to-end payment lifecycle, including inbound/outbound flows (Swift, SEPA) and complex third‐party integrations, within a cloud‐native, high‐availability environment. Feature Development: Design and enhance microservices focused on payment processing, integrations, and financial tooling.
Responsibilities
System Integration: Implement and maintain asynchronous communication patterns to ensure data consistency and system speed
Observability & Monitoring:
Take full ownership of service behavior by implementing tracking, monitoring, and managing production alerts/issues
Technical Learning: Rapidly assimilate and apply knowledge regarding specific payment schemes (Swift, SEPA, etc.) and technical documentation
Collaboration: Work effectively within a distributed international team, participating in Agile ceremonies and meeting delivery goals
Requirements
Expert-level Python: Proven mastery of the language for backend development
Cloud Infrastructure: Professional experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Microservices Architecture: Deep understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous communication
Kafka: Practical experience in publishing, consuming, and processing data streams
Kubernetes (K8s): Experience deploying and operating services within orchestrated environments
Payment Industry Experience: Mandatory background in international payments, local payouts, or
