In this role, you will join our Bystronic Software team. With our software solutions, developed specifically for the sheet metal processing industry, we enable companies to digitize their entire processes - from the initial quote to the final delivery.
We are looking for a Data Scientist passionate about data, advanced analytics and turning information into strategic decisions. You will work closely with product, engineering and business teams to develop data-driven solutions that create real impact.
Analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends and opportunities.




Design, develop and maintain predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
Clean, transform and validate data from multiple sources.
Automate analytical processes and data pipelines.
Explore new techniques and tools related to AI and data science.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a related field.
~4+ years of experience in Data Science, advanced analytics or similar roles.
~ Experience applying statistical modelling, machine learning and data visualization in business contexts.

Strong command of Python or R.
Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Solid SQL knowledge and experience working with databases.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Looker or similar.
Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning.
