We are looking for a AI Architect to lead architecture across our Data Analytics and AI/GenAI offerings.
You will design and shape a cloud-native, enterprise-grade SaaS environment built on Azure, using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, modern data lakehouse architecture , and supporting AI components powered by LLMs, RAG, OCR, NLP , and more.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will combine high‑level architecture with real implementation,



experimentation, and guidance for engineering teams. Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud‑native platforms
Create architectures with self‑healing and highly available capabilities
Support implementation with practical expertise in cloud, code, and infrastructure
Shape the long‑term architecture vision for Data & AI platforms
Identify future opportunities in cloud, data, AI, and automation
System Design: Java/Spring MVC and distributed systems
Security: Zero Trust principles, authentication & network security
Experience with quality and vulnerability tools (SonarQube, Invicti, Aqua)
Additional non‑Java programming background (Python, .NET, ideally Go)

Maven and/or Gradle experience
For Spain the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 60.000] and [EUR 100.000] (for a full‑time role). In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance‑based variable
