ECM Analyst II – Madrid, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).
Take ownership of specific workstreams, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
Manage transaction timetables and ensure alignment across legal, auditors, client management, and internal teams.
Conduct in‑depth market analysis, including sector performance, valuation trends, and window assessment.
Perform comparative analysis across peers and market transactions and support pricing decisions through sensitivity and scenario analysis.
Support senior bankers in developing strategic capital markets ideas and prepare high‑quality pitch materials and sector updates.
Contribute to internal budgeting and revenue tracking and ensure strict compliance with regulatory and internal control frameworks.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Investment Banking (Corporate finance preferred), Equity Capital Markets, or related capital markets roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering,



or a related discipline with strong academic performance.
Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent (preferred).
CFA, ACA, or similar professional qualification is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish required.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Execution and project management experience.
Ability to interact confidently with senior clients and internal stakeholders.
Experience supervising junior team members.
