Job Title EMEA Process Safety Manager
Overview The EMEA Process Safety Manager will direct and support the development, improvement, implementation, execution, and sustainment of Bunge’s Global Process Safety (GPS) and combustible dust programs in the Bunge’s EMEA operational footprint. Typical chemical processes covered by this position are oilseed extraction with hexane and other solvents, ammonia refrigeration, hydrogenation, and other chemical processes. This individualis regionally responsible for driving continuous improvement and reduction in Serious Injury and Fatality exposures associated with hazardous chemicals and combustible dusts, across multiple stakeholder groups, business lines, and geographic regions to achieves “One Bunge”. Reports to the EMEA Safety Director.
Manage and implement the Bunge Global Process Safety (GPS) and Combustible Dust Standards
Partner with Technology-CoE’s (subject matter experts) to produce best in class process safety and combustible dust performance plans




Participate in the General Process Safety working group comprised of global experts and stakeholders
Influence key decision makers in promoting Process Safety at all levels of the organization
Incorporate Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles and practices in the Process Safety and Combustible Dust programs
Participate in external organizations associated with Combustible Dust and Process Safety
Build capability to address Process Safety and Combustible Dust safety risks through Inherently Safer Design (ISD) on facility builds and modifications
Coach direct reports and internal stakeholders in Process Safety excellence and operational discipline principles
Create proactive Process Safety actions during periods of organizational change
Coordinate and/or lead incident investigations on Process Safety and Combustible Dust severe events
Foster collaboration and alignment with other working groups within the organization, including maintenance (ARROP), refinery,
