E-invoicing and e-reporting models are proliferating around the globe and this is a great opportunity to be at the heart of this business-critical area for Amazon. We are looking to hire a talented tax manager who has been part of an E-Invoicing mandate, having advised on or delivered an e-invoice implementation previously. Monitor, track and evaluate legislative developments such as the EU’s ViDA programme and individual country developments, working with colleagues in VAT Policy and regional Tax Planning teams.




Analyse published law and guidance to draft comprehensive Tax Requirements Documents plus other briefing materials that clearly articulate the impact on Amazon’s business operations.
Leverage AI and automation tools (including Amazon’s internal AI platforms and tax technology solutions) to monitor regulatory developments, analyse legislative texts, and accelerate the drafting of materials.
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders — including Tax Engine, FinOps, Operations, Finance, Legal, and business teams — to answer ongoing queries related to e-invoicing requirements and provide timely, accurate guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Engage and manage relationships with external tax advisors to obtain specialist advice on complex or ambiguous legislative requirements, and validate internal interpretations
