Cyber Security Engineer
Report to: Head of Security Operations
Tokio Marine HCC is a leading specialty insurance group with offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Ireland, and other exciting locations. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting TMHCC’s international technology environment by strengthening our detection, investigation and response capabilities. Working within our International Security Operations function, you will help identify emerging threats, improve security controls and enhance our cyber resilience. You will collaborate with Security Engineering, Infrastructure and Technology teams to continuously improve our security operations and support the organization’s cyber resilience.
Administer and improve security controls across endpoint, server, identity, network, cloud and business application environments.
Design, implement and continuously improve preventative and detective security controls.
Investigate security incidents, perform threat analysis and support digital forensic activities, containment and remediation.




Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, Incident Response or Infrastructure Security.
Strong knowledge of endpoint, identity, cloud and infrastructure security technologies.
Experience in threat detection, incident response, investigation and digital forensics.
Understanding of security engineering principles, operational security tooling and IT Service Management.
CISSP or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
Experience within regulated industries and integral organizations.
