Measure output quality, ground systems in real data, and ensure auditability.
Use AI‑assisted tools for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Recognize limitations of LLM‑based systems: hallucinations, evaluation challenges, data sensitivity.
Learn the full customer journey and help draft the engineering roadmap.
Collaborate with other engineering managers on cross‑team initiatives.
Lead the shift toward AI‑native product development through example and guidance.
