The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Bridges and Civil Structures team who is passionate about challenging design problems and has a strong interest in innovation, optimisation and high-quality delivery.
As a Graduate Structural Engineer At Arup, You Will
- Deliver structural design calculations and packages for complex infrastructure projects
- Work closely with wider Arup teams and multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, high-quality engineering solutions.
- Perform structural and numerical analyses, producing calculations, drawings, specifications, and clear technical reports.
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Contribute to technical excellence, digital innovation, and knowledge sharing within Arup’s general structures and bridges & civil structures community
Does this role inspire you?

- A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Experience in structural and numerical analysis using industry-standard software.
- Interest in digital engineering and BIM, including digital workflows for design, modelling and drawing delivery.
- Knowledge of Sofistik would be a significant advantage.
