Head of Compliance and Building Safety - Islington
We're looking for a hardworking and resilient Head of Compliance and Building Safety to join our Central Service Team located in head office.
75,000.00 per annum, working 35 hours per week.

The Head of Compliance and Building Safety will lead the strategic management and operational delivery of Look Ahead's compliance functions, encompassing Building Safety, Fire Safety, Gas Safety, Water Hygiene, Lift Safety, Electrical Safety, and Asbestos Management. This role ensures that all statutory and regulatory obligations are met with excellence, and that services are delivered to the highest standards of quality,



value, and customer satisfaction.
The Head of Compliance and Building Safety will lead the procurement and delivery of compliance inspections, testing, and remedial work programmes, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
What you'll do:
This is not an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that may be required from time to time and is subject to change in accordance with the needs of Look Ahead .
- Lead, develop and coach the Compliance and Building Safety team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services.
- Oversee statutory compliance across building safety, fire, gas, water hygiene, lifts, electrical systems, and asbestos.
- Manage service contracts and remedial works, ensuring value for money, regulatory compliance, and minimal disruption to residents.
