The Data Engineer plays a critical role in Pluxee’s decentralized Data Hub & Spoke model, contributing to the transformation of data into actionable insights across multiple countries. As part of a regional Data Spoke team, this individual contributor builds robust and scalable data pipelines and models to serve business intelligence, operational analytics, and machine learning use cases. The role collaborates closely with the global Data Competence Center and contributes to transversal initiatives across countries, ensuring adherence to architecture, governance, and security standards.
Your next challenge
Cobee byPluxee is changing how it builds its data model. Instead of a centralised team building general entities, each product domain will own and maintain its own data layer. You'll be one of the engineers making that shift happen.
- You'll work closely with the product team in your domain, coordinate with centralised Data Engineers on upstream changes, and take part in the Data Council, the cross-domain group that keeps standards consistent as the distributed model scales.
Whatyou’llbe doing
- As an Analyst Engineer, you will:
- Build and maintain production-grade data models following industry best practices and established data engineering standards.
- Design stable and well-structured dataschemas with clear naming conventions, defined granularity and documented business logic.
- Implement automated data quality controls, including tests, validations, and business-rule checks as part of the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and maintain data reliability, proactively identifying and resolving data quality, freshness, and performance issues.
- Manage data model evolution through versioning, change management, and clear communication with downstream consumers.
