VHIR is seeking a Project Manager to join the Rheumatology Research Group.
The Rheumatology Research Group (GRR) is focused on translational research in immunity-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDA), mainly in the area of rheumatology. The GRR is a multidisciplinary group made up of clinical specialists, biologists, bioinformaticians and laboratory technicians. The different research lines of the GRR emphasise the use of high-performance technologies for the study at the cellular and molecular level of the immununopathology of IMIDA, mainly chronic inflammatory arthritis and autoimmune systemic diseases.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate and support operational and project-related activities within the Rheumatology Research Group.
- Support the management and follow-up of ongoing projects, ensuring activities are completed on time and according to established procedures.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain documentation required by Principal Investigators (PIs).
- Prepare documentation, reports, presentations and other written materials required for the unit.
- Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise meetings, agendas and project-related follow-up activities.
- Support administrative and organisational processes related to the research group.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and organisational procedures.
- Collaborate proactively with team members and other institutional departments.
- Ensure proper handling and organisation of documentation and information.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- University degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Management, Public Relations, or related fields.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish/Catalan.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate studies or Master’s degree related to project management, healthcare management, research management or similar.
