About this opportunity
The Project Manager provides independent oversight of complex, high-value construction projects, where technical delivery, stakeholder management and programme certainty are critical.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements.
- Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
- Positively engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining Customer relationships.
- Managing teams to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures
- Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager.
- Producing and presenting to customers
- Mentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential
- Preparing bids for services.
- Managing service delivery for profit.
- Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI)
insurance.

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- Strong Project Management experience in Manufacturing facilities, Industrial buildings, Life Sciences or Healthcare.
- Proven delivery track record in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal).
- Clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts.
- Ability to motivate others (including providing support and encouragement) and to lead high-performance teams
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills.
- Sound ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
