ABOUT THE ROLE

The role involves managing the receipt, procurement, and delivery of minor building and engineering works, ensuring services meet customer expectations and budget You will consult with customers throughout the process, from initial request to final delivery. Working closely with the Maintenance Services Delivery and Projects team, youll ensure a smooth and coordinated service experience.
Youll support the Asset Life-cycle Manager in planning and managing term and cyclical maintenance contracts, helping to deliver cost-effective improvements. The role also includes procuring external service providers in line with University regulations and overseeing their performance to ensure value for money and compliance. All works must adhere to statutory legislation, best practice, and the Universitys Health and Safety Policy. Youll maintain accurate project documentation, oversee quality control,



and be able to confidently challenge contractors and find a satisfactory resolution for any issues that arise when necessary. Additionally, youll work collaboratively with a small team to ensure efficient delivery of minor works and projects.
