Competitive Base Salary: £40,178, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division is a fast-growing part of the RAC, dedicated to delivering planned, structured repair and servicing directly to our members—right from their driveway to their workplace car park.

You’ll be part of the Bournville cluster, covering areas like Bournville, Selly Oak, Northfield, Kings Norton,
and Stirchley. Enjoy the freedom of being out on the road in your local area, tackling a clearly planned schedule of appointments—no reactive callouts, just organized, pre-booked work where you can focus on doing the job right. What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule. Each job is pre-booked, and the member is expecting you. You’ll carry out:
Routine servicing
Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
