In addition to ourcutting-edgescientific achievements, we haveestablishedlasting ties with industrial partners and created several spin-off companies.CONTEXTAND MISSIONWe are seeking a postdocto join the Quantum Machine Learningteam(QML-CVC)in beautiful Barcelona.The QML-CVC team( ) is part of the Computer Vision Center at the Universitat Autònomade Barcelona;
the CVC isacenterwith over 150 persons working machine learningand computer visionresearch.The position is for 3years, starting ASAP,focused on ‘Quantum Machine Learning’ ,withtheobjectiveof investigating hybrid classical-quantum and quantum inspired algorithms. The tasks will include the design and implementation of explorative research pathways for general problems related to machine learning and computer vision. Specific research lines can be defined in collaboration with the supervisor, with potential avenues including generative models, optimization tasks, orotherspecific applications.Thecandidate will work in the context of the project ML-QSIM, a 4-year, 2 M€ projectfunded by the Spanish Government,withina multidisciplinary team incollaboration with 3 most relevant institutions for the Spanish Research Council (CSIC):

They should work well ina team whiledemonstratinginitiative and independence.
