With production locations in Markt Indersdorf near Munich and Edegem near Antwerp and subsidiaries in Benelux, France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Turkey, Great Britain and India we serve the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and India.We are looking for aStrategic Trade Control & ICP Officerto strengthen our compliance capability across DT SBU EMEIA.This is a hands‑on role focused on execution. You will translate export control and sanctions requirements into clear, workable processes and controls that function in daily operations. At the same time, you will ensure our Internal Compliance Programme (ICP) is documented, maintained, and audit‑ready.You will act as a practical partner to the business—firm on compliance, but solution‑oriented in how we enable it.What You Will DoStrategic Trade Control (STC)Execute day‑to‑day export control and sanctions checksSupport classification of products, technologies, and destinationsAssist with export licences and authorisationsConduct customer, end‑use,
and red‑flag screenings in line with regulations and corporate policyContribute to awareness and training on trade control obligationsInternal Compliance Programme (ICP)Operate and maintain the ICP in line with corporate standardsEmbed compliance controls into business processesSupport stakeholders in validating third‑party information (end‑user, application, etc.)Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance to integrate compliance into workflowsAct as a compliance partner, balancing risk awareness with business needsMonitor and enforce geographical and product‑related restrictions where relevantDocumentation & ControlsMaintain accurate, up‑to‑date ICP and STC documentationEnsure traceability and audit‑ready evidenceDevelop and update procedures, work instructions and compliance toolsMonitoring & ReportingPerform control checks and self‑assessmentsTrack compliance KPIs and control effectivenessReport and elevate risks where neededWhat You BringExperience in export control, sanctions compliance or trade complianceGood understanding of EU and international frameworks (e.G. EU Dual‑Use Regulation, EU/UN sanctions)Strong attention to detail and a structured way of workingAbility to assess complex situations and take clear, compliant decisionsA pragmatic mindset—able to find workable solutions without compromising complianceStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and culturesConfidence to take a firm position when neededFluent EnglishWho You Will Work WithInternally, you will interact with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Compliance and DT SBU EMEIA HQ.
