Role Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Associate to join their dynamic team. This role will focus on preparing and reviewing tax returns, researching tax issues, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The adecuado candidate has experience in business, individual, and partnership tax filings and is eager to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
This is a remote position that requires collaboration with tax and accounting professionals and direct engagement with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Preparation & Review:
- Prepare business, individual, and partnership tax returns.
- Review tax returns of varying complexity to optimize outcomes while ensuring compliance.
- Research tax issues and provide resolutions or recommendations.
Client Engagement & Support:
- Communicate directly with clients to understand their tax needs and ensure their best interests are met.
- Assist other members of the tax and accounting team to provide high-quality service.
- Maintain client records and ensure deadlines are met.Tax Compliance & Strategy:
Stay updated with tax regulations and industry trends.
- Assist in tax planning strategies for clients to maximize efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all tax-related matters.
