If you are a proven and qualified accountant looking to jump into an amazing opportunity in a general leading scale-up and take the next step in your career, this is the right role for you Manage month-end closing process, monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and timely resolution of variances.
Take ownership of the fixed assets and capital expenditure accounting and reporting.
Ensure that all financial records are accurate and timely for annual audits.
Manage the indirect tax filings timely and meet all local compliance requirements for their assigned countries.
Support payroll payments in conjunction with the payroll team.
Support local operations team on financial requests.
Identify manual steps in the month-end close and reconciliations and build automations to reduce cycle time.
Use AI and automation tooling (e.g. use Claude to speed up recurring finance tasks and self-serve analysis).
Own documentation of automated workflows so they're repeatable across the seven-country finance team.
Work with the wider international finance team, and other team leaders in ensuring an efficient finance team including documenting process improvement.
