Join our growing Energy Storage Systems team and help shape the utility-scale energy transition across Spain and Portugal. As our ESS Key Account Manager, you will turn high-potential BESS opportunities into successful, profitable projects.
Own the commercial strategy, sales pipeline, targets, and customer development for utility-scale ESS across Spain and Portugal.
Build trusted senior-level relationships with EPCs, system integrators, IPPs, developers, investors, utilities, technical advisers, and strategic partners.
Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity qualification and technical-commercial positioning through negotiation, contract award, and project handover.
Partner with engineering, product management, service, legal, finance, and general teams to deliver competitive, bankable customer proposals.
Translate customer feedback, tender activity, market requirements, and competitor insights into practical portfolio and pricing recommendations.
Maintain accurate forecasts, account plans, market reports, and CRM data while representing Sungrow at customer workshops,



industry events, and commercial negotiations.
To thrive in this role, you will combine commercial drive with strong technical understanding and a collaborative, customer-first mindset.
Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, business, or a comparable field with strong technical exposure.
Bring at least five years of experience selling utility-scale BESS, renewable-energy solutions, power systems, EPC services, or project-development solutions.
Confidently assess deal economics, manage commercial risk, negotiate contracts, and balance revenue growth with sustainable margins.
Communicate in Spanish at C1 level and English at B2 level or above; Portuguese at B2 level or above is strongly preferred, and you are comfortable travelling regularly across Spain, Portugal, and occasionally internationally.
