The Opportunity: Data Infrastructure, SRE & AI Foundations
Flywire is seeking a Senior Data Engineer I specialized in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and AI Infrastructure.



In this high-impact role, you will not just build data pipelines; you will architect and guarantee the reliability, observability, and scalability of the platforms that power our high-stakes payment intelligence and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning strategy. You will treat "Data as a Product" and Infrastructure as Code, serving as the engineering backbone for our Data Science and Analytics teams, reporting into the team led by our Hiring Manager, Roberto.
Data SRE & Platform Reliability: Define, monitor, and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical data platforms. AI & Data Platform Agent Integration: Design and maintain the infrastructure, feature stores, and scalable API/data pipelines required to enable advanced AI Agents to securely access, query, and interact with the data platform and its various features.
Cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the design and deployment of global data infrastruct
