Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona , within the Housekeeping Department , the Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee supports the supervisory team while gaining comprehensive knowledge of housekeeping operations, quality standards,



and people management. This role is designed to prepare the trainee for a future supervisory position within the department. The Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee reports to the Housekeeping Manager / Assistant Housekeeping Manager .
As Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Support the supervision of daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Mandarin Oriental cleanliness and quality standards.
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring the work of Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and other housekeeping colleagues.
- Participate in daily briefings to understand room status, arrivals, VIPs, and special guest requests.
- Learn to inspect guest rooms and public areas, ensuring compliance with brand standards and identifying maintenance or cleanliness issues.
