The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to work in the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Unit of the ICIQ Scientific Core Facilities. The candidate will work in the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Unit. In addition, the NMR staff, also takes care of the instruments maintenance, update and new experiments implementation.
Responsibilities (performed Under The Unit’s Manager Supervision)
Perform routine maintenance quality control of NMR instrumentation, including cryogen refilling, helium refilling, probe maintenance, shimming, pulse calibration, retiring measured samples, and performance monitoring.




Manage laboratory operations, including user access, supplier orders, equipment documentation, data management, and sample handling.
Ensure compliance with laboratory quality and safety procedures, supporting internal and external audits.
Attending seminars, webinars, and technical training.
Chemistry degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) or equivalent
Good command of English (oral and written).
Immediate start date.
