Develop high-quality Python software to power climate risk products, APIs and customer-facing features.
Contribute to the full lifecycle of new climate signals, from technical discovery and prototyping through production deployment and operational support.
Improve engineering practices by contributing to testing, automation, documentation and code quality.
1 to 4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related technical field.
~ Strong programming skills in Python or another object-oriented language.
~ Experience building or maintaining data processing pipelines.
~ Familiarity with Git, testing practices and APIs.
~ Experience with Azure or another cloud platform.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows or similar technologies.
Familiarity with scientific Python libraries such as xarray, pandas or Dask.
Exposure to software architecture or distributed systems.
