The role will combine strong Oracle DBA expertise with cloud, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.This role is important to support critical business platforms, cloud modernization, infrastructure automation, and secure database operations in a regulated environment.Key responsibilities include:* Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases hosted on AWS RDS, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and data integrity.* Manage database provisioning, patching,
backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures within the AWS environment.* Configure and manage database connectivity and network access controls, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.* Provision and maintain database infrastructure using Terraform, following infrastructure-as-code best practices.* Monitor database performance, conduct query and instance tuning, and proactively identify and resolve issues.* Implement and enforce database security best practices, including encryption, access management, and audit logging.* Maintain accurate documentation of database architecture, configurations, standards, and operational procedures.* Support production incidents and participate in the relevant support model when required.* Collaborate with development, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support business and technical initiatives.* Partner with DevOps and platform en
