The HR Generalist is responsible for day‑to‑day HR operations in Spain and Iberia, with a focus on compliance, talent acquisition and HR administration, supporting business growth while ensuring alignment with local labour legislation and BYD general policies.

HR & Compliance Responsibilities
Ensure HR processes comply with Spanish labour law, internal policies and GDPR, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Monitor changes in labour legislation and support the adaptation of contracts, policies and HR templates.
Support internal and external audits, maintain HR documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of HR procedures.
Ensure all HR actions (hiring, terminations, disciplinary processes)



follow legal requirements and BYD standards.
Talent Acquisition Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, interviews, feedback and offer coordination.
Manage recruitment channels and maintain a strong talent pipeline, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
HR Administration & Employee Support
Prepare HR data for payroll, monitor attendance and leave, and coordinate with external providers and internal stakeholders.
Act as first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, contracts, benefits and basic employee relations matters.
Maintain HR systems, personnel files and HR reporting (headcount, turnover, absenteeism) for local and regional HQ.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or related field.
~1-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist / HR Admin / Talent Acquisition role, ideally in an international
