We are looking for a Shopify Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of technology, consulting, delivery, and presales. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to understand business needs, design technical solutions, and help bring Shopify projects to life.
As a Shopify Solutions Engineer, you will:
- Work with clients to understand their business, technical requirements, and ecommerce challenges.
- Design and document technical solutions on Shopify and Shopify Plus.
- Support the delivery of custom Shopify themes, apps, integrations, and platform configurations.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, backend developers, project managers, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in technical discovery sessions, workshops, and client meetings.
- Help define scopes, technical approaches, estimates, and implementation plans.
- Support presales processes by translating client needs into clear technical solutions.
- Review existing Shopify setups and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support the team during implementation.
- Stay up to date with Shopify’s ecosystem, platform capabilities, APIs, apps, and best practices.
This is a hybrid role . Fik is based in Madrid , and while part of the work can be done remotely, candidates should be available to come to our office on a regular basis for team meetings, workshops, and collaboration sessions.
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in ecommerce.
You should have:
- Experience building, maintaining, or supporting Shopify or Shopify Plus solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development principles.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.
