EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.
We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance, and knowledge.
Using cities as living labs, our industry, research, and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.
The Business Development and Engagement Officer will be based in Barcelona and support the Innovation Hub South Team. The job holder will do engagement of the EIT Urban Mobility ecosystem and business development in the Innovation Hub South geography (mainly focused on France and Portugal).
Key responsibilities Business Development – Develop new partnerships:
Management and analysis of leads process.
Market analysis at Hub level in close collaboration with the rest of the EIT UM team.




What you will bring along the way An idóneo candidate would strive to generate positive environmental and social impact in line with EIT Urban Mobility’s mission. Proven experience in business development / partnerships and ability to manage pipeline (CRM) and close deals and agreements.
Excellent written and spoken English and French (corresponding to at least C1 level).
Good communication skills in Spanish and Portuguese.
An active network of relevant stakeholders in the mobility ecosystem in the Innovation Hub South region (especially in France and Portugal).
