Senior Accounting & Tax Specialist (Spain, Italy and Portugal)
We are looking for an Senior Accounting & Tax Specialist responsible for accounting and reporting for Mölnlycke Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Madrid office
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in line with local GAAP and Group policies, including reconciliation between frameworks.
Ensure timely and accurate legal reporting.
Prepare and submit statutory financial statements, income tax returns, VAT, and other regulatory filings for all the 3 countries in scope.
Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality, working with shared business service teams.
Implement and maintain the Group internal control framework and key controls within the entity.
coordinate audits and ensure compliance.
Prepare tax packs, analyze permanent and temporary differences, and apply country-specific adjustments.




Ensure reconciliations and true ups of all balance sheet accounts; Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality.
Academic degree in Accounting or equivalent.
~5+ years’ experience in accounting roles or audit/public accounting within international companies.
~ Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, tax compliance, and group consolidation.
~ Experience with advanced accounting issues and closing processes.
~ Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Spanish. Italian will be a plus.
~ ideally with knowledge of SAP, group reporting tools and Excel.
