Position : (Senior) Underwriter – Transaction Risk Insurance

As a (Senior) Underwriter focussing on insurance for Mergers & Acquisitions (Transaction Risk Insurance), you will form part of a dynamic team of professionals that focus on developing our regional portfolio. You will directly report to the Transaction Risk Insurance Manager Southern Europe and Latam and carry out selection, analysis, and pricing of policies, as well as negotiate the insurance terms and conditions with brokers and insureds in order to issue the final contractual documentation. Analyse data relating to an account: study financial,



regional/national economic trends and industry conditions in the assigned underwriting discipline.
Follow underwriting guidelines and submit underwriting, pricing and negotiations recommendations to the underwriting committee of Transaction Risk Insurance.
Autonomously run the underwriting process of complex M&A; insurance projects.
Coordinate and oversee the performance of external legal counsel representing the company in each M&A; deal.
Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, lawyers, private equity firms, deal principals and colleagues from Tokio Marine HCC offices worldwide.
Coordinate and/or participate in special projects including underwriting standards, best practices and legal compliance.
Minimum 3– 5 years’ experience in a role focused on transactions, e.g. law firm or corporate legal department, advisory roles in financial services, private equity; Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law.
