Your job
As a Business Analyst / Product Owner, you will act as the key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will translate complex business needs into structured requirements and drive product development in agile environments, ensuring high-quality and value-driven delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate requirements into structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog in alignment with business goals.
- Act as Product Owner within Scrum teams (Sprint Planning, Refinement, Review,
Retrospective).
- Facilitate workshops and requirement sessions with German-speaking stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication between business, UX/UI and development teams.
- Support product discovery and contribute to product vision and roadmap definition.
- Ensure alignment between scope, timeline, and technical feasibility.
- Monitor product performance and incorporate feedback into continuous improvement.
What makes you the perfect candidate
- 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in software development environments.
- Strong experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Fluent German (C1/C2 level mandatory) — written and spoken.
- Professional English proficiency.
- Proven experience writing high-quality requirements and user stories.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
