Tasks Translate our mycelium-based production from pilot-scale to industrial-grade manufacturing. Your primary responsibility is to design, validate, and implement scalable production processes, ensuring that our Solid-State Fermentation (SSF), upstream and downstream processing (DSP) can operate reliably at commercial scale.
You will work hands-on with our pilot plant team, upgrade current processes to industrial, and build the technical backbone required for scaling—whether executed internally or via selected external partners. External manufacturing and supply chain design are part of your scope, but always derived from a deep understanding of process requirements, equipment constraints,



and production economics.
This is not a pure management role. We are looking for an engineer who has personally scaled processes and facilities, and who can translate first-of-a-kind systems into industrial reality.
Pilot plant optimization & engineering development
Actively participate in machine selection and installation.
Support running scale-up trials, including process validation and data generation for industrial transfer.
Support amendment of process documentation (SOPs, PFDs, P&IDs;, scale-up reports).
Scale-up of upstream, fermentation and downstream processes from pilot plant to industrial scale
Industrial Strategy & Facility Design: contribute to FOAK facility design, including capacity planning and modular expansion concepts.
Support capex planning and equipment sourcing decisions based on process requirements.
