We are seeking talented undergraduate or post-graduate studentswho have a genuine interest in becoming a patent attorney toundertake an internship with our Mechanical Engineering team inMelbourne.




The DCC Patent Internship Program provides hands on workexperience at a leading IP firm. You will have the opportunity towork alongside world leading patent attorneys contributing topatent drafting, filing, prosecution, IP portfolio management,oppositions and litigation.
Our internship program will run from November 2026 toFebruary 2027 (excluding the Christmas and New Year period). Receive mentorship from Patent Principals and senior patentattorneys.
Be assigned a junior patent attorney as your buddy.
Attend team meetings and DCC social events.
Completed 3-4 years of an undergraduate or postgraduatedegree in:
mechanical engineering
aeronautical engineering
biomedical engineering
Excellent written and verbal English language communicationskills.
