Location: We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux & Platform) , based in Barcelona, Spain (hybrid mode of working).
Role Summary As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux & Platform), you will design and build a turnkey on-prem platform used in on-premisses, hybrid and air-gapped environments.
While the platform leverages Kubernetes, this role is Linux and systems-first, with Kubernetes as one part of the broader stack.
This is a hands‑on engineering role with strong technical ownership and influence on architecture, quality, and engineering standards.
Design and evolve a production-grade software appliance
Develop backend services and APIs (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI)
Support air-gapped deployments and offline upgrades
What You Bring to the Team:



We are looking for a strong generalist engineer with deep experience in Linux systems and production environments, and some exposure to Kubernetes and container platforms. Strong software engineering experience in backend, systems, or infrastructure development
Deep hands-on experience with Linux in production environments (troubleshooting, performance, networking, system behavior)
Experience working with containers and Docker
Practical familiarity with Kubernetes (concepts, basic operations, troubleshooting)
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible (or similar)
A focus on reliability, maintainability, and operational quality
