DESCRIPTION:
Amazon's General Procurement Organization is on a mission to transform how procurement works at Amazon scale. We build the technology that powers billions of dollars in purchasing decisions, and We're looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of technical solutions and programs focused on inventory management of non-inventory supplies across Amazon's global operations. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology, operations, and business strategy - where your work directly influences how Amazon procures and manages supplies at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, cross-functional technology programs - from requirements gathering and design through build, launch, and iteration.
- Develop functional and non-functional requirements, high-level technical designs, systems integration plans,



and technical specifications in partnership with engineering, product and business teams.
- Drive architecture and design discussions, applying deep knowledge of AWS services and AI to evaluate trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, AI-driven and operationally sound.
- Lead integration efforts with existing software and hardware systems deployed across Amazon sites, independently resolving cross-team technical challenges and driving alignment across organizations.
- Manage program roadmaps, milestones, and dependencies across multiple engineering teams. Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and remove barriers to keep delivery on track.
