Flomics is a fast-growing biotech company founded in 2018 in Barcelona. We are developing a revolutionary liquid biopsy test for the early detection of cancer, based on the analysis of cell-free RNA in blood. By combining cutting-edge genomics with advanced bioinformatics and machine learning, we’re identifying novel biomarker signatures that can transform diagnostics. We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced Genomics Laboratory Technician to support and lead key experimental activities within our R&D; and external scientific projects, with a strong emphasis on genomics and particularly cell-free RNA sequencing.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, autonomy in experimental execution,



and the ability to contribute to process optimization and laboratory best practices.
What we are looking for
- A degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus), or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory.
- Extensive experience working with RNA, particularly low-input or challenging samples, and magnetic bead-based library preparation protocols.
- Demonstrated experience as a laboratory manager or in a role with responsibility for laboratory organisation.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for experimental rigor and reproducibility.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
