HEREU is an independent contemporary fashion brand based in Barcelona, with a global distribution footprint across premium retailers and our own e-commerce channel. We sit at the intersection of craft and modern design — working with specialist manufacturers and artisans to bring products to life with a strong sense of identity. After a decade of growth, we're a lean, international team entering a new phase of organizational maturity. Everyone here has real ownership of their work.
The Role
We're looking for a Designer with a strong aesthetic sensibility to act as the operational right hand to our founders. The role centers on creative research, technical development, closing collections with Merchandising, leading fittings and approving samples, and product design collaboration, ensuring the brand's craftsmanship and Mediterranean identity carry through with total fidelity.
What You'll Do
Creative Research — Top Priority
Research visual concepts, art movements,



architecture and general luxury trends that feed the founders' vision.
Develop moodboards, color proposals and texture panels for each season's kickoff.
Lead the ongoing sourcing of leathers, linings, hardware and new materials.
Product Development & Technical Closure — Core Operational
Work closely with Merchandising on closing the range plan, assessing technical proposals from a creative standpoint (reference balance, material feasibility, costs).
Lead and document fitting sessions with founders and the Design Technician to evaluate fit, proportions and material behavior on shoes and bags.
Oversee prototypes and salesman samples, flagging any deviation before sign-off for production.
Work directly with the Creative Direction (Founders) to translate their direction into tangible sketches for new silhouettes and accessories.
Lead the design process for the bags category, proposing new models, structures and volumes.
