Who you are
- You have previous work or internship experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
- You have previous work or internship designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin
- You have mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components, and executing on it by writing clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code
- You are comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback to other engineers through code reviews
- Your experience demonstrates that you take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking feedback from your team, your manager, and your stakeholders
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team

- This role will focus on two critical parts of the user journey: purchase protection, including disputes and refunds, and agent tooling, which is essential for our agents to offer the best support possible to our customers—both significant areas of investment to ensure trust and satisfaction for our newest customers
