We are particularly interested for this role in the strengths and lived experiences of women and underrepresented groups to help us avoid perpetuating biases and oversights in science and IT research. Context And Mission Within the Earth Sciences Department of Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), led by Prof Francisco Doblas-Reyes, the Computational Earth Sciences group is looking for a junior Python and Web developer to join the Data and Diagnostic Team and contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications for operational services. Mentioned services are based on Plone ( web CMS and provide interactive visualization dashboards which give access to users to graphical and numerical products such as forecast maps, time-series, evaluation plots and skill scores. Those dashboards are developed with Dash and Plotly ( a Python interactive visualization framework. Operational services also include a back-end part of data collection (download and formatting) and processing.
