About the Job

The Finance Data Pool is Allianz's strategic data foundation for finance, bringing together financial data from multiple source systems into a harmonized and scalable data warehouse. It supports accounting, reporting, analytics, and future data-driven finance capabilities across Allianz entities.

As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Finance Data Pool products and capabilities. You will act as the bridge between Finance business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions that can be implemented efficiently and sustainably.

You will work closely with Finance experts, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects, SAP specialists, and Testing teams to ensure business requirements are transformed into high-quality products that deliver value and support Allianz's finance transformation journey.

This role combines product ownership, functional leadership, and technical understanding.



It requires someone who is comfortable discussing finance processes with business stakeholders and technical implementation details with engineering teams.

What you do

Own Product Delivery
- Drive the delivery of Finance Data Pool capabilities from idea through implementation and release.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Define and maintain product roadmaps together with business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Ensure product increments deliver measurable business value.

Translate Business Needs into Technical Solutions
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and Business Analysts to understand and refine requirements.
- Convert business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure requirements are understood consistently across all delivery teams.
