ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Hi, I'm Oussama Salimi, the Engineering Manager at N26, and I am looking for a
Backend Engineer to join the Investments team here at N26.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
* Write high-quality, performant code (primarily Kotlin) and navigate the
codebase fluently.
* Handle deployment, bug fixing, and incident handling with a high level of
independence, taking features from concept to production.
* Act as a sparring partner for Product Managers during Product Discovery,
ensuring technical decisions support the user experience.
* Question the status quo by asking "why are we building this?" and "is there a
simpler way?"
* Identify knowledge gaps and technical problems, taking active ownership to
address them without waiting to be told.
* Share your learnings from GSDD projects with the wider team, turning
individual curiosity into collective knowledge.
* There will be a lot more too, this is a role that will require a lot of
flexibility.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
* Proven experience as a Software Engineer taking features from concept to
production with minimal supervision.
* A track record of thriving in dynamic environments where requirements evolve
rapidly.
