The AMZL Trans Volume Intra-Week Area Manager (AM) ensures positive interactions between Amazon Delivery Stations, third-party companies, Central Operations and delivers on operational objectives. Through the use of tools, management of a team, and coordination with various partners. This AM role requires the skills to decide independently which actions to take for short term decisions and limited supervision for medium long term. The AMZL Trans Volume Intra-Week Area Manager (AM) ensures positive interactions between Amazon Delivery Stations, third-party companies, Central Operations and delivers on operational objectives. This AM role requires the skills to decide independently which actions to take for short term decisions and limited supervision for medium long term. Area Managers in AMZL Trans Vol will lead a team of up to 20 associates on shift, and +6 direct reports, serving as problem solver and primary escalation point for the team and other stakeholders. They will also provide periodic updates to Program Managers about status of the operation or any major escalations,



maintaining a full understanding of workflow and daily metrics goals, allocate labor and train new associates, drive continuous improvement, and enforce SOP compliance and SLAs response times.
Scale services, tools, and processes that will enable the business growth in Trans Vol footprint, complexity, and geographic dispersion while still maintaining a high bar for the customer experience
Work closely with the Supply Chain team in areas including Sales and Operations Planning, DSPM an Ops leadership to align and execute the strategy at DS and country level.
Work with technical and business teams to optimize planning, execution, process improvement and track progress against goals
Maintain and report up to date and accurate KPIs, management reports and analysis (DBR/WBR/Intra-week reports)
Bachelor's degree or above in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer
