Arbortech is an Australian-owned, innovation-led business with a general operational footprint. We specialise in developing unique cutting tools and technologies for specialist tradespeople and DIY users, to solve real-world problems. We design and manufacture our tools in WA, and distribute, market and sell them around the world. Headquartered in Perth, WA, with satellite offices in the USA, Canada and Germany. We are undergoing a period of high growth and are seeking a commercially driven and hands-on General Manager to help lead our business through its next phase of expansion.
Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager will drive our business development activities that include growing existing opportunities, identifying new ones, and building the strategic partnerships that support long-term growth. The General Manager will also lead operational functions and oversee financial performance, ensuring the business has the capability and stability to support sustainable growth.
Negotiate major commercial agreements and evaluate licensing and strategic partnership opportunities




Lead annual business planning, translating strategy into measurable objectives
Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and margin management
Significant experience (5+ years) in a senior management role
Financial management, team leadership and operational management experience is desirable
Strong strategic, analytical and commercial negotiation skills
A confident communicator comfortable working across multiple time zones and geographies (German language skills a plus)
