Job Overview Springer Health+ is seeking a General Manager to lead operations in Spain and Portugal. This role is based in Madrid with a hybrid working model and involves overseeing sales, revenue, profitability, and strategic growth for the Iberica region.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet sales, revenue, and profit targets through organic growth and effective budget management.
- Develop and implement business strategies in collaboration with senior management.
- Lead, coordinate, and support healthcare staff across departments, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage relationships with key clients and partners, and represent the company at industry events.
- Contribute to the development of a 3-year strategic plan and ensure alignment with general healthcare strategies.
- Maintain current knowledge of the healthcare sector and promote sharing of best practices across teams.

Qualifications and Experience




- Extensive experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industries, preferably in scientific, sales, or publishing roles.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience in a matrix environment and budget management.
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, therapeutic areas, and drug development processes.
- College or university degree is required.

Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and financial acumen.
- Leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
