Travel Retail Commercial & Activation Manager – Europe
Lindt & Sprüngli’s Integral Travel Retail division, operating across more than 200 European airports, seeks a highly motivated manager to grow market share in Spain, Italy, Portugal, and the UK. Based in Barcelona, the role starts as soon as possible.
Overview
The primary mission is to increase Lindt brand visibility and achieve the company’s sell‑in and sell‑out targets through the planning, execution, and monitoring of in‑store promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility in organizing and executing promotional activities.
- Coordinate brand activations with Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Sales Teams, covering all administrative tasks, planning, and reviews.
- Adapt existing guidelines and brand identities to customized spaces.
- Manage stakeholder relationships – internal and external – including briefing and coordination of agencies, contractors, consumers, and customers.
- Coordinate data and print materials; forecast all promotional supplies (e.g., MC uniforms, aprons, tasting material).




- Track promotional executions and drive permanent visibility projects, identifying new in‑store opportunities.
- Serve as a link between shop managers, customers, and Lindt, implementing all planned activities.
- Optimize shelf layouts, assortment, and visual merchandising; provide stock control and order recommendations to shop managers.
- Assist in developing marketing and communication plans that support customers’ revenue targets.
- Recruit, onboard, and train brand ambassadors; maintain ongoing contact and weekly follow‑up on merchandising, stocks, and sampling.
- Define incentive staff plans for permanent brand ambassadors and activations, and track performance.
- Align with the local shop floor team to ensure proper visibility and merchandising; monitor pricing, promotions, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate stock management with the Avolta stock manager; drive budgeted sales targets
