We are expanding our portfolio to include cutting-edge data centre development projects and are therefore seeking experienced Data Centre Sales Manager.
Goodman is seeking an experienced Data Centre Sales Manager (based in Madrid) to join our expanding Data Centre project team. Primary function of the role is to prospect for new client relationships with enterprise Spanish customers, including MSE (Madrid Stock Exchange)-listed and large/mid-sized companies.
Your proactive, hunter mindset will be crucial as you engage with target customers, attend industry events, workshops, and fairs, and manage the entire lead-to-contract process. You are expected to use consultative selling skills along with a strong understanding of the data centre and technology industries to discover opportunities and achieve quota attainment in the enterprise/wholesale co-location segment. Achieve ambitious growth targets while expanding Goodman's presence in the Spanish market.
Understand customer needs and position Goodman’s solutions as a strategic business enabler.
Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and contract execution.
Coordinate internal resources (sales engineer, marketing) to deliver tailored commercial and technical solutions.
Minimum of 10 years of proven success in a consultative selling area, ideally engaging with C-level executives in the IT Services/data centre/telco/network environment.
Familiarity with Iberian and mediterranean marketplace, companies and community.
Strong network of partners relationships.
A track record of closing sales of Data Centre / Co-Location solutions.
In-depth knowledge of and skilled in contract interpretation, negotiations and project management.
Fluency in English, and Spanish (other languages are an asset).
