Project Manager - Industrial Automation
Own the full project lifecycle - from kick-off and planning through execution, commissioning, and hand-over - ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
Apply hands-on automation knowledge to coordinate technical teams, review engineering designs, and validate system performance during commissioning.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risk registers, and status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Spain and China engineering teams, ensuring seamless cross-cultural and cross-timezone collaboration.
Travel regularly across Europe to customer manufacturing facilities to lead kick-offs, monitor progress, conduct inspections, and oversee commissioning activities.
Manage logistics for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of automation equipment, coordinating with suppliers, freight partners, and customs authorities.
Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep expedited timelines on track.




Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
Manage client relationships, setting clear expectations, communicating progress, and resolving issues promptly.
Control project costs, track expenditure against budget, and report variances to senior management.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven track record (3+ years) in project management within industrial automation, special-purpose
machinery, or automotive manufacturing.
Solid technical background in automation systems (PLCs, robotics, vision systems, conveyor systems,
or similar) enabling effective communication with engineering teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven
environments.
