Genetic Algorithms, PSO, Simulated Annealing).Create custom optimization solutions to solve complex mathematical and engineering problems.Translate complex business rules intomathematical constraints.Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to design solutions for real operational challenges.Data Analysis & PreparationCollect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources.Identify patterns and insights to improve optimization model performance.Evaluate and fine-tune optimization algorithms to meet performance and scalability requirements.Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of constraints and parameters.Work with product and delivery teams to productionize optimization models.Communicate results, insights,



and implications clearly to senior stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree inOperations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.3–4+ years of experience in optimization or a related role.Strong experience withmetaheuristic optimization techniques(GA, PSO, SA, etc.).Proven ability to translate complex mathematical problems into actionable optimization solutions.Proficiency inPythonand data science libraries (Pandas, Num Py, Sci Py, Scikit-learn).Hands‑on experience with optimization libraries such asPu LP, Pyomo, and frameworks likeMealpy, DEAP, or Optuna.Solid understanding ofbusiness rule modeling and constraint programming.FluentEnglish(international environment).Nice to HaveExperience with optimization solvers such asGurobi, CPLEX, or Hexaly.Experience with data visualization tools and libraries.Knowledge ofETL processesand data cleansing.Familiarity with linear optimization techniques.Experience deploying models oncloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).Exposure to advanced mathematical modeling tools (Pyomo, OR-Tools).About YouStrong communication and presentation skills.Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.Curious mindset with a passion for learning new technologies.Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.Availability to work in ahybrid model (3 days on-site per week in Barcelona).Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIT Services and IT ConsultingBarcelona, Catalonia, Spain
