Responsibilities: Environmental and Social Management Systems

- Support in the development and implementation of the corporate ESMS, ensuring adequate cascading across all AE portfolio of projects at all stages
- Oversee and support in the development of project-specific ESMSs to ensure alignment with ESIA, ESAP, employer requirements, investors, and lenders’ requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international, regional, and local environmental and social standards and legislation, as well as rapidly evolving ESG frameworks and requirements




- Coordinate/interface with internal resources or external consultants accordingly
- Support in the required tasks to obtain and maintain ISO certifications

- Conduct E&S; screening assessments of potential investment opportunities at origination stage
- Conduct E&S; due diligence assessments, both internally and coordinating third party assessments by E&S; consultants of potential investment opportunities
- Support in the preparation of tenders, evaluation of proposals and selection of specialised consultants to perform ESIA studies and other related studies for projects
- Coordinate the tasks of the E&S; consultants, monitor the progress of the ESIA process and review deliverables, to ensure Project requirements are fulfilled on time, budget and with the right quality and up to the required standards (Corporate requirements and Lender standards)
