Airborne Electronic Hardware DesignerWe are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer with a passion for advanced digital systems and aerospace technologies. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, in charge of the full life‑cycle of the design and build of airborne electronic products and solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop complex airborne electronic hardware solutionsDefine hardware requirements and ensure system level requirements allocationPerform component selection considering reliability, obsolescence, thermal, and environmental constraintsSupport hardware validation, integration, qualification and environmental testing campaignsCollaborate closely with firmware developers, systems designers and certification responsible authoritiesManage supplier work packages for the design, manufacturing and validation activities during prototype and production phasesParticipate in technical reviews with internal customer teams and external certification/qualification authorities (INTA, EASA)Prepare technical documentation aligned with aerospace development and certification processesEnsure compliance with aerospace and airborne standards DO‑254 and DO‑160Associated CompetenciesDigital Electronic Hardware Detailed Design: ability to design and analyse digital electronic circuits, including logic circuits in FPGA, PLD requirements capture, timing analysis, corner case analysis,
power consumption estimation and environmental constraints.Knowledge of digital instrumentation and verification techniques and latest digital design toolsProvide detailed data and information about system elements to enable consistent implementation with architectural entities defined in system architecture models and views.Verify compliance of a detailed PLD solution against validated requirements at aircraft equipment or system level.Required Competences & SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline5+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded or airborne systems within aerospace, defense, industrial, or high‑reliability sectorsStrong expertise in digital and analog electronics, high‑speed design, signal and power integrity, embedded architectures, and EMI/EMC considerationsAdvanced experience with PCB design and review tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Or CAD, or similarExperience with aerospace communication protocols and interfaces (SPI, I2 C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, ARINC or similar avionics interfaces)Proven experience in hardware bring‑up, debugging, and validationStrong understanding of safety‑critical development environmentsProfessional working proficiency in EnglishDesired Competencies & SkillsPrevious experience in aerospace, avionics, UAV, or defense programsKnowledge of certification processes and airborne compliance standards (DO‑254, DO‑160,
